Questions
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2016 and later, macOS 12 and later, and major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux, Rocky, Fedora).
Will it change things without asking?
Only the safe fixes you allow, such as clearing temporary files or turning the firewall back on. Installing software, changing settings or restarting needs approval from your administrator, and you can switch automatic fixes off completely.
Can employees use Care AI for other things?
No. Care AI only handles IT and system problems on the device. Other requests are politely declined.
Does Tech Guru see my documents?
No. The agent collects technical health information only — performance, disks, security settings and installed software. It does not read, copy or upload your personal files, passwords or browser data.
Can we use our own Anthropic API key?
Yes. On the "Bring your own key" plans Care AI runs on your organisation’s Anthropic account, Anthropic bills you for AI usage, and the per-device price is lower. See how to connect your own key.
What happens after the trial?
